In January 2011, 40 Heavy Metal bands and 2,000 fans will go to the Caribbean to take over the luxury cruise ship "Majesty of the Seas" for a 5 day and 4 night trip of a lifetime. Make no mistake, this is not one of the cruises where you share the ship with regular cruise guests... This is 100% Heavy Metal! Tons of onboard live shows on several in and outdoor stages, open mic nights, bars that never close, a fun-and-sun-filled day on the beautiful island of Cozumel (Mexico) and an opportunity to mingle side-by-side with the artists in this incredibly fan-friendly scenario that has no comparison. It's like everyone has a backstage pass! *NOTE: Passengers under 21 must be accompanied by an adult 21+ All prices are PER PERSON, for the whole trip, in US-Dollars and include the following: - Meals in the dining rooms, deli, bars, and 24h room service - Non-carbonated, non-alcoholic beverages (i.e. tea, juices, coffee) - Use of the ship's amenities like pools, fitness center, etc. - Access to all concerts, shows, and performances THE VOYAGE: Day 1 Miami FL We will be sailing out of Miami in the afternoon. The live shows will start shortly after departure and will extend late into the night while we set course for Cozumel. Day 2 Day on Sea A whole day on the open seas, sailing along the Cuban coast. Enjoy tons of live shows all day and night long, workshops, bars that never close (again; bars that never close!), poker tournament in the casino, an open mic night, and tons of other onboard activities. Day 3 Cozumel MEXICO The ship will arrive at the beautiful island of Cozumel in the early morning and will be docked the whole day. If your hangover is not too bad you can leave the ship for the day and choose from many exciting activities. You can go snorkeling or horse-back riding, visit some ancient Mayan sites or just hang at the beach, have some margaritas and tacos - and swim in beautiful, blue waters! Day 4 Day on Sea If you thought the first day on sea was good - you will be blown away on this day! All this while you have the opportunity to mingle side-by-side with your favorite artists in this incredibly fan-friendly scenario that has no comparison. It's like everyone has a backstage pass.
