Subject: Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street
Content: Sweeney Todd (I just noticed there weren't any topics started, so I thought I'd be the first. ^.^) Is this film one of Tim Burton's Best/Worst films? Bloody Good? Or Bloody Awful? In my opinion, Sweeney Todd was a "Bloody Good" movie. Not just because Johnny Depp was in it, even though he's such a well rounded actor, but because it's a classic brought to life in an extraordinary way. Tim Burton is amazing, and I love how he always seems to "Recycle" Depp and Helena Bonham Carter into different roles. I feel that this is one of Burton's Best films. Though, am I the only one that saw boom-mic's? *Laughs* When I first saw it in the theatre, I saw boom-mic's in at least three different shots. I thought it was done on purpose, but it's not on the DVD. Also, did anyone else laugh when throats were slit and the bodies disposed of through the trap door? - Or is my morbid sense of humor really that sick?- I couldn't help it, when those bodies hit the floor...(Put's me in mind of a great song... *Hums*) I couldn't help but laugh... Even my friends jokingly called me sick and twisted. Opinions/comments on my thoughts and this movie?   Sorry, this turned out to be more of a movie review.
